The service I received from Sandal BMW Huddersfield was excellent, from the initial contact, through help I received deciding on the details of the purchase, to the agreement and final delivery. I was pleased to have met staff at different levels.

My car wasn't 100% clean Jane had to ask for the car touching up and when I got home it still had water marks all over the doors

Someone was always on reception (not the case for other local car dealerships) friendly and helpful. Staff were quickly available (also not the same experience at other local dealerships - waited over 15 mins in VW and ended up leaving).

All done very smoothly, effort put in with the unveiling and answered any questions I had and followed up with an after sales call to check all was ok which was appreciated.

Sam, Chris and Alan, great service and worked with me to ensure my purchase meets my needs eg suggesting taking a test drive as engines were different. Just feel the team are really genuine and honest. Should be a given but it's not in all businesse

Whilst I have moved home away from the Sandal dealership in Huddersfield I returned there because of my connection to them and the first class helpful people who are a pleasure to deal with.

See above - I'm a loyal customer of Sandal - however, standards have slipped, from the experience I've had of late - not your usual high standards. Also, please don't try to upsell me on 4x new tyres in response to a slow puncture on 1x tyre.

I accept that mistakes are made but not to be told something had been checked when clearly it had not. Next day when I had brought it to the dealership attention I was told that the adblue would be topped up free of charge on next service visit .

If Sandel's are overcharging every customer by 4.16% this is a Trading Standards issue, as it is Fraud. It may not be intentional but it is still wrong. What I feel most angry at is the lack of response by Lucy Gallagher in service.

The workshop is over capacity & this is detrimental. Nick, the manager, was helpful after I complained. Beth Hindby was excellent and does a great job. She kept me up to date, she is efficient, easily contactable, knowledgeable & friendly

After waiting 5 weeks the car had a brake service which was done. The diagnosis showed the car required a new replacement part. This was identified and I was called at 4pm to inform me and that the part would not arrive until the next day.

To unlock the boot of my car I used to press the open boot on fob now I have to unlock the car to do this I rang to explain to be told to go to settings to see if I can reset it surely it should have been set before leaving and radio and phone also ?

Difficulty in speaking to service personnel who always seem to be busy or unable to answer calls. Had Reason for clarification on quote supplied for recommendations as I was leaving. Spoke to receptionist who tried to contact service without success.

My car went in for a BMW recall for air bag checks. Additionally BMW undertook general checks and submitted me with a printout report. They also thoroughly washed my car exterior and hoovered the inside. I was impressed and left with an indebted feel

The disappointment related to having requested a 4pm collection when booking, the car was only finally returned about 6pm, i had to wait around 2 hours at the garage. If id forgone the requested valet i assume the car would have been ready earlier.

I booked my service for 11.30 so arrived for that time however was told my car wasn't due in until 2.30. I couldn't find my appt but the very lovely lady on reception managed to ensure my car was done for the time I had as I had my baby with me.
